CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which is the word used to define the learning programs practitioners and executives use to improve and strengthen their skills. This encourages the learner to become aware and constructive rather than inactive and reactive.
Executive Education & Continuing Professional Development (EE-CPD ) incorporates various learning methodologies, such as educational seminars, conferences and activities, e-learning courses, best practice strategies and ideas exchange, all oriented to growing and providing better career growth. There are over 1000 institutes & specialist organisations around the UK and Commonwealth countries, a proportion that is expected to increase.
This development is accompanied by recognising that university credentials will deliver more technical and skills-based or 'practical 'learning. A systematic, realistic and methodical approach to learning allows managers across sectors to retain critical workers to improve their companies' expertise & skills to ensure an innovative and sustainable advantage.
Engaging in Executive Education & Continuing Professional Development means that all formal and functional skills do not become outdated or obsolete, encouraging individuals to continually "up-skill" or "re-skill " themselves, irrespective of profession, age or educational background.
