PhD-M Double Award Program (PhDM Plus PGDM)

This is a combination of two independent programs from our educational institution partners, Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) of SDH Institute, Singapore (SDH) and Doctor of Management (PhDM) of University of Geomatika Malaysia (UGM). Upon graduation, the students will be awarded from 2 institution in 2 countries (Singapore and Malaysia)

Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) of SDH Institute, Singapore (SDH) is a 100% coursework program. The program consist of 6  applied management subjects. The students will explore the current issue of business and management contents focusing on ASEAN and Global Context. This interactive course will help the students to identify their research interest and topic in the PhDM dissertation stages. The program is entirely conducted in English, therefore, those who graduated from this program are exampted from English Language Competency Requirement (ELCR) in the higher level program.

Doctor of Philosophy in Management (PhDM) of University of Geomatika Malaysia (UGM). The program is a research-based program with 6 audited research subjects with no examination. The student will then enter the disseration stages ; 1. Defining the dissertation topic 2.  Develop the research questions and identify the research gap 3. Literature Review  4. Research Design 5. Data Collection 6. Data Analysist and Write up.   The students are encoraged to have  the publications in the international peer reviewed journal, pass the proposal defence and viva voce.

Program Advantages:  The combination of PhDM Plus PGDM helps students self-identify the management research topics during the coursework stage, get connection with international classmates and course facilitators who might be their potential research supervisor. The combination also helps reducing the tuition fee lower than seperated program.
